Privacy Policy

A Rogan Thing (“we”, “us”) makes games and apps for iOS. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run our apps, and we don’t sell your personal data to anyone. This policy explains what we collect, what stays on your device, and your choices.

**The short version**

Almost everything you do in our apps stays on your device. We don’t require accounts, we don’t collect your identity, and we never sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes.

**Data stored on your device**

Our apps store your content — such as workouts, meals, weight entries, progress photos, and preferences — locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to us and we cannot access it. Deleting an app deletes this data (except purchases, which can be restored through your Apple ID).

**Apple Health (HealthKit)**

Some of our apps (such as HypePal) can, with your permission, read data from Apple Health — for example your daily step count and active energy — to display your activity inside the app. This health data:

– is only read with your explicit permission, which you can withdraw at any time in the iOS Settings app;

– stays on your device and is never uploaded, stored, or shared by us;

– is never used for advertising, marketing, or analytics, and is never disclosed to third parties.

**Camera and photos**

If you use features like progress photos or barcode scanning, the app uses your camera or photo library with your permission. Photos are stored only on your device. Barcode and food searches send only the barcode number or search text (never your identity) to the Open Food Facts database to look up nutrition information.

**Purchases and subscriptions**

Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your name, email address, or payment details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, and restore previous purchases inside the app.

**Analytics**

Some of our games collect anonymous usage statistics, such as the total number of players in a timeframe or average session length. This data is aggregated, contains no personal information, and is never linked to your identity.

**Advertising**

Some of our free games display third-party advertisements, which may link to external websites we don’t control and aren’t responsible for. Ad providers may use cookies or similar technology to show relevant ads; this is governed by their own privacy policies. **Our paid apps and subscription apps, including HypePal, contain no third-party advertising.**

**Children**

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

**Changes to this policy**

If we change this policy we’ll update it on this page with a new date. Continued use of our apps after a change means you accept the updated policy.
